E-Mail:

“The Lord called me as the Lead Pastor of our church in January 2016. My desire is to lead our church to be Christ-centered and missionally minded through biblical preaching, healthy community and serving others. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Pastoral and Historical Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have been married to my beautiful wife, Carissa, since 2010 and we have two energetic young boys, Judah and Knox.”

Pastor of Students and Worship

E-Mail:

"My greatest passion in ministry is to train and disciple people. That’s why worship is so important to me. When we lift our voices in worship, it changes us. It trains our wayward hearts to follow Christ. Another passion of mine is students. I love to see their growing love for God as they become disciples of Christ. Aside from doing ministry, I spend a lot of time hanging out with my wife, Stephanie, reading good books, pushing through seminary at DTS, and doing a lot of nerdy stuff."

Connections Pastor

E-Mail:

"I grew up in Plano TX and left my hometown with a passion for ministry. I graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a degree in Biblical Studies. The Lord took me down a less conventional path for ministry and gave me a passion for police work. I am an officer in Rockwall TX and serve bi-vocationally as the Connections Pastor at FBC  Lavon. My goal is to help people find places and ways to connect within the church whether that be through serving in a ministry or being ministered to. I am happily married to my amazing wife and we have two beautiful girls."
